General Foreman

Job: Foreman Civil Engineering

Boyd Recruitment are currently recruiting an experienced General Foreman for an established Scottish civil engineering contractor

They are looking to add a General Foreman to help deliver key projects.

Our client has multiple projects across the Central Belt of Scotland and is willing to consider permanent and contract candidates.

The Job

As General Foreman you will be responsible for the following

Duties include:

• Liaising with the Site Agent, reporting on quality, efficiency & health & safety.
• Using iPad/Laptop to complete site paperwork.
• Carrying out RAMS, toolbox talks and staff briefings.
• Upskilling existing members of staff and being involved in recruitment of new staff
• Completing paperwork
• Supervision of site labour
• Ordering materials
• Managing daily site operations

The Candidate

The Successful Foreman will have:

• Significant civils experience
• On site delivery experience
• A full UK Driving licence.

Must have either

• SSSTS or SMSTS

You will be:

• An excellent communicator
• Well organised and focussed on meeting client expectations
• Good IT skills
