Electrical Supervisor

BMSL are looking for an experienced working supervisor for an 8 month duration in Edinburgh city centre.

Previous experience in a fast moving commercial project is required please find more details below.

Key Responsibilities

• • Review design requirements once appointed by the Project Manager and identify any missing information
  • Raise and manage technical queries via the Design Development Tracker and the Project Manager
  • Issue delivery schedules to suppliers
  • Issue the project programme to subcontractors
  • Coordinate material deliveries, site storage, and laydown areas
  • Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors to commence works
  • Monitor site progress and report updates to the project team and Director
  • Ensure operatives comply with RAMS and wear the correct PPE
  • Ensure any changes are recorded and communicated to the project team
  • Direct tradesmen, operatives, and subcontractors to carry out works safely and efficiently
  • Attend site progress meetings with the customer
  • Alert the Buyer to any supplier issues or concerns
  • Carry out quality inspections across all elements of work
  • Carry out demonstrations of M&E installations to the customer and end user
  • Carry out electrician installation work as required
