My client is one of the UK s largest and fastest-growing independent plant and tool hire companies, operating across eighteen depots throughout the South of England, Wales, and Scotland. Account Manager Key Responsibilities
- Manage, develop, and grow a defined portfolio of existing customer accounts
- Drive the growth and performance of key accounts in line with company objectives
- Deliver and exceed sales growth targets across all products and services
- Research, develop, and present customer account proposals and commercial agreements
- Collaborate with local, regional, and internal marketing teams to maximise business opportunities
- Act as a brand ambassador across industry events, marketing initiatives, and promotional activities
- Provide market intelligence and customer insights to regional teams and senior management
- Maximise customer engagement and performance using internal customer management platforms
Account Manager Skills, Experience & Attributes
- Proven experience in sales and account development, ideally within a B2B environment
- Strong ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Demonstrated success selling products and services to end users
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
