My client is one of the UK s largest and fastest-growing independent plant and tool hire companies, operating across eighteen depots throughout the South of England, Wales, and Scotland. With ambitious growth plans underway, we are seeking high-calibre professionals to support and drive the continued success of our business.

Account Manager Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, develop, and grow a defined portfolio of existing customer accounts
  • Drive the growth and performance of key accounts in line with company objectives
  • Deliver and exceed sales growth targets across all products and services
  • Research, develop, and present customer account proposals and commercial agreements
  • Collaborate with local, regional, and internal marketing teams to maximise business opportunities
  • Act as a brand ambassador across industry events, marketing initiatives, and promotional activities
  • Provide market intelligence and customer insights to regional teams and senior management
  • Maximise customer engagement and performance using internal customer management platforms

Account Manager Skills, Experience & Attributes

  • Proven experience in sales and account development, ideally within a B2B environment
  • Strong ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Demonstrated success selling products and services to end users
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
