Senior Architectural Technologist

Our client based near Stamford are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Senior Architectural Technologist on a full-time permanent basis. This role offers flexible working hours once probation completed, initially the role is office based Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm.

As a Senior Architectural Technologist you will demonstrate strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a positive, proactive attitude. You will be involved across all key stages of the design process, from project inception through to construction and delivery.

Key responsibilities for the Senior Architectural Technologist include;-

• Interpret and develop client briefs into practical design solutions
• Produce accurate and detailed construction drawings in line with current UK Building Regulations
• Manage drawings through planning and building regulations approval processes
• You will prepare detailed works instructions, material specifications, and schedules
• Maintain and manage drawing registers
• Liaise with clients, installation teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Support contract administration and project coordination activities as required

To be considered for the Senior Architectural Technologist role you will have;-

• Relevant qualification in Architectural Technology
• Minimum 5 years industry experience with strong working knowledge of UK Building Regulation
• Proven on-site experience
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D 2011 onwards)
• Knowledge of SketchUp desirable but not essential
• Full UK driving licence and access to own transport
