Site Agent

We are currently supporting our client in bringing on an experienced Site Agent to join a major SCL tunnelling scheme in Kent. This is a long-term opportunity on a technically challenging project, offering an 18-month contract and an Outside IR35 engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of site operations for the SCL tunnelling works

• Management and coordination of site engineers and subcontractors

• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification

• Raising and managing RFIs, technical queries, and design clarifications

• Ordering materials and plant in line with programme requirements

• Liaising closely with the client, designers, and stakeholders

• Monitoring progress against programme and reporting to senior management

• Ensuring compliance with HSEQ standards and project procedures

• Supporting commercial awareness, including records for variations and change

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Agent on tunnelling or major civil engineering projects

• Strong knowledge of SCL tunnelling methods

• Ability to manage engineers and coordinate multiple work fronts

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid

• Strong understanding of health & safety and temporary works
