Site Engineer

The Client and Project Info:

My client is a leading Civil Engineering Contractor who are currently recruiting a Site Engineer to work on a water treatment site in South West London. The project involves delivering key civil and infrastructure works within a live, regulated water environment as part of a long-term water framework.

Site Engineer Responsibilities:

• Setting out works in accordance with drawings, specifications, and programme.

• Supporting the delivery of civil engineering works on a water treatment site.

• Working closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager to ensure smooth project delivery.

• Managing site records, quality documentation, and as-built information.

• Carrying out QA checks and completing Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).

• Coordinating subcontractors and monitoring work progress.

• Ensuring all works are carried out safely and in line with health, safety, and environmental standards.

• Assisting with surveys and resolving technical issues on site.

Site Engineer Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects.

• Experience on water treatment, wastewater, or utilities projects is essential.

• Strong setting out and surveying experience.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

• Valid CSCS card.

• EUSR Blue Card is essential.

• SMSTS or SSSTS beneficial but not essential.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.
