Obtain and analyse quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Produce accurate bills of quantities, take-offs, cost plans, and tender submissions. Identify project risks, exclusions, assumptions, and potential commercial opportunities. Carry out site visits and assess existing site conditions where required. Liaise with clients and internal teams to clarify scope and technical requirements. Ensure estimates are completed within agreed deadlines. Maintain estimating databases, labour rates, material costs, and subcontractor pricing. Support value engineering and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or compliance. Assist with handover of successful tenders to the commercial and project delivery teams. Maintain accurate records of tender information and estimating decisions. About you Previous experience in estimating within EV charging, electrical, civils, construction, utilities, or infrastructure . Strong understanding of civil engineering and construction methodologies. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction details. Experience carrying out detailed quantity take-offs and cost build-ups. Strong numerical and analytical skills with commercial awareness and understanding of project costs and margins.
