Gas Engineer / Plumber

Gas Engineer x 2 - Barnsley - 24/26 per hour - Immediate Start

PSR Solutions are currently recruiting for a skilled and reliable Gas Engineer to work on projects in Barnsley.

Position Details:

• Job Title: Gas Engineer / Plumber.
• Location: Barnsley.
• Rate: 24 / 26 per hour.
• Contract Length: Temp to Perm.
• Start Date: Immediate Start.
• Interview to follow successful registration.
• Hours: Monday to Friday - 8-9 hour days.
• Van and fuel card will also be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cooker, Gas Fire and Boiler replacements.
• Gas Runs.
• Gas Metre Cap Offs.
• Basic plumbing for kitchen and bathroom when required.
• Gas testing on properties, making sure all connections are sound.
• Working to meet site deadlines and quality standards.
• Ensuring all work complies with current electrical and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Valid Gas Certificate.
• NVQ Level 2 (minimum).
• Basic DBS.
• Asbestos Awareness.
• Own tools and full PPE.
• Proven experience.
• Ability to work alone without supervision.
• Strong understanding of site protocols and health and safety.
