Senior Building Services Manager Opportunity - Tier 1 Main Contractor - Commercial Project

MK Search are working closely with one of the UK's most successful main contractors with a strong presence in the commercial, residential, healthcare and data centre construction sectors who are looking to enage with a Senior Building Services Manager.

You will be joining a prestigious commercial office development in the heart of London as the Senior BSM, overseeing c. 25m of M&E Services throughout the 2 year delivery phases, with the view to progress within the business to further projects afterwards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of a major commercial office development from conception to handover, with full responsibility for all building services elements.
• Produce and maintain the project programme, phasing plans and delivery strategy specific to the development.
• Coordinate all disciplines involved in the project, including M&E engineers, design consultants and specialist subcontractors.
• Ensure the commercial project is completed to programme, within the approved budget and in line with agreed quality standards.
• Manage subcontractor packages and on-site activities, monitoring contractor performance throughout construction.
• Ensure full compliance with RAMS, health and safety legislation and all client-specific requirements for the development.
• Serve as the senior technical lead for integration and coordination of building services across the commercial building.

Requirements:

• Understanding of RAMS, CDM regulations and health & safety management on live sties.
• Experience managing both mechanical and electrical packages on large scale commercial projects.
• Commissioning, testing, validation and soft-landing experience on major projects.
• Degree or HNC/HND in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience.)
• CSCS / SMSTS / First Aid qualifications.
