Traffic Marshall Long-Term Construction Project Thetford

  • Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour (CIS/UTR)
  • Hours: 7:00am 5:00pm (9.5 hours paid daily)

We are currently recruiting an experienced Traffic Marshall to join a high-profile long-term construction project in Thetford. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure stable, well-paid work on a prestigious development with excellent working conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely direct and manage the movement of vehicles and plant machinery on and around the construction site.
  • Maintain safe access and egress routes for site traffic and pedestrians.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, plant operators, and site operatives to prevent accidents and congestion.
  • Monitor and control deliveries to ensure they are unloaded in designated areas safely.
  • Assist in maintaining site security by controlling entry and exit points.
  • Adhere to all site-specific safety protocols and wear the correct PPE at all times.
  • Work closely with site management to ensure smooth traffic flow and minimal disruption to ongoing works.

Essential Requirements:

  • Valid CPCS or NPORS Traffic Marshall (Vehicle Banksman) qualification.
  • Safety Critical Medical Sertificate
  • Previous experience in a Traffic Marshall role on a busy construction site.
  • Good understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to traffic management.
  • Ability to give clear, confident hand signals and verbal instructions.
  • Punctual, reliable, and able to work as part of a team.
  • Right to work in the UK.

Role Details:

  • Rate: £18.00 per hour paid under CIS/UTR.
  • Hours: 7:00am start 6:00pm finish (10.5 hours paid daily).
  • Duration: Long-term, ongoing work for the right candidate.
  • Location: Secure construction site in Thetford.
