Project Manager - Exhibitions

My client are recruiting for a Project Manager who's key roles are to: prepare quotes for our clients and organise the safe and efficient delivery of manufactured exhibition stands throughout the UK and Europe. Supported by a team of Account Managers, Designers, Production Specialists and Stand Builders.
Duties and responsibilities
- Deep relationship building across the business, with clients and stakeholders.
- Pricing up designs / drawings and preparing quotations for clients.
- Development, production and delivery of projects from brief through to delivery.
- Creating and managing timelines and priorities for each job.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Project Budget accountability.
- Work with the wider team to achieve best practice in planning, delivery and client management.
- Completing health and safety documentation for each project as required.
- Travelling to events and client meetings as required.
- On-site project management and exhibitor liaison during build up and breakdown.
- Being able to communicate with clients and build strong relationships.
- Managing contact with third party contractors both in the UK and overseas.
- Maintaining records on the company's software systems.
- Checking the accuracy of 3D designs, visualisations and working drawings.
- Ensuring excellent customer service and quality delivery.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications and requirements
- Interpersonal Skills the ability to work well in a team, as well as to manage and motivate others.
- Pro-active, approachable, supportive and a positive attitude are a must.
- Experience in project managing exhibition stands from concept to completion. Minimum 3 years of experience.
- Understanding operational aspects of organising Exhibitions, stands and the ability to read floorplans.
- Flexibility is a key attribute as this varied role will include travel and irregular working hours including early mornings, late evenings and weekends.
- Outstanding communication, excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle essential.
