This Senior Quantity Surveyor role sits within a rapidly expanding education team delivering schools and specialist education facilities across long-term public sector frameworks.

The work is secured, the pipeline is strong, and the projects are moving fast.

You ll take full commercial ownership of one or more education projects, working closely with delivery, design and manufacturing teams to ensure commercial certainty from early design through to handover.

Your role as a Senior Quantity Surveyor

You ll lead the commercial management of education projects, balancing pace, risk and value while supporting delivery teams operating at speed.

This is a hands-on, senior role ideal for someone who enjoys responsibility, autonomy and being close to the work.

Key responsibilities

• Full commercial ownership of education projects

• Cost planning, forecasting, procurement and change management

• Managing risk and opportunity registers

• Supply chain strategy, performance and negotiation

• Supporting programme delivery at pace without loss of control

• Working collaboratively with project managers, design and manufacturing teams

What we re looking for

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or strong Project QS ready to step up

• Background in construction or MMC-led delivery environments

• Strong commercial judgement and numerical capability

• Confident communicator with clients, supply chain and internal teams

• Calm under pressure, decisive and solutions-focused
