Senior Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a highly regarded and rapidly expanding main contractor delivering projects across London and the South East. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven professional to take on a pivotal role within a business entering its next exciting phase of growth.

The business currently turns over circa £60m and has a clear, well-funded strategy to reach £100m+ within the next couple of years. This appointment is key to that growth plan and offers genuine long-term progression for the right individual.

The Role

As Senior Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the delivery of projects from pre-construction through to completion. Schemes typically include a mix of:

• Industrial and logistics
• Commercial and office fit-out
• Education and public sector works
• Refurbishment and new-build projects

Projects are predominantly based across London and the South East, ranging in value and complexity, and you will be expected to lead site and project teams while acting as the key point of contact for clients and consultants.

Programming is a core part of the role, and the business uses ASTA Powerproject for planning and programme management.

Key responsibilities include:

• End-to-end project delivery from pre-construction to handover
• Producing, managing, and updating programmes using ASTA
• Managing and mentoring, Site Managers, and project teams
• Senior-level client and consultant liaison
• Programme, quality, risk, and commercial control
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard

About You

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager (or a strong Project Manager ready to step up) within a main contracting environment
• Experience delivering projects across London and/or the South East within the commercial, industrial, education sectors.
• Strong working knowledge of ASTA Powerproject
• Commercially astute with strong leadership and communication skills
• Proactive, organised, and solutions-focused

• Salary up to £105,000 (depending on experience)
