Hill McGlynn Recruitment is pleased to be working with a well-established M&E subcontractor to recruit an experienced Repairs Planner / Maintenance Coordinator, based out of their Bromley office.
Our client specialises in delivering reactive maintenance works, supporting a range of contracts and clients. This is a key office-based role, ideal for someone with strong coordination, planning, and communication skills.
The Role
As a Repairs Planner / Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating reactive maintenance jobs from start to finish, ensuring works are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
- Logging and scheduling reactive maintenance works
- Coordinating engineers and subcontractors
- Managing job progress and ensuring SLA compliance
- Liaising with clients, engineers, and suppliers
- Raising and tracking works orders
- Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate records
- Handling client queries and resolving issues promptly
About You
- Previous experience in a repairs planning, maintenance coordination, or scheduling role
- Background within M&E, building services, or facilities maintenance is highly desirable
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Confident communicator with good customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced reactive environment
- Competent with IT systems and scheduling software
