Job Title: Social Housing Carpenter

Location: Hammersmith & Fulham
Salary: £21.40 per hour

About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our team working within social housing properties. The role involves carrying out day-to-day repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment work to ensure homes are safe, functional, and maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out carpentry repairs and installations in occupied and void social housing properties

• Work on doors, windows, kitchens, flooring, fencing, and general joinery

• Complete reactive maintenance and planned works

• Ensure all work is completed safely and to required standards

• Communicate professionally with tenants and colleagues

• Accurately complete job records and reports

Requirements

• Proven experience as a carpenter, ideally within social housing or domestic properties

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry or equivalent (preferred)

• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

• Full UK driving licence (essential)

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
