Proficient in use of Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) and Manual of Contract for Highway Works (MCHW). Versed in structural analysis software packages, including but not limited to, Autodesk SBD, LUSAS, and MIDAS. Managing project schedules, budgets and programmes ensuring quality deliverables. Review schemes and prepare conceptual design options. Supervision of design teams. Collaborating with clients and partners to develop buildable and maintainable solutions. Experience in the detailed design of new highway structures or maintenance and assessment of existing assets, predominantly in reinforced concrete and steelwork. Prepare technical reports (e.g. feasibility/options reports, approval in principals, assessment reports and other technical reports) Applying best practice and innovative approaches in all projects. Conducting site surveys as well as general and principal inspections. Chartered Engineer (MIStructE or MICE). Familiarity with current practices when working with structures managed by local authorities or part of the strategic road network. Proficiency in structural analysis software packages.
