As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will be tasked with the design and coordination of all the mechanical services including HVAC, Gas and Water systems. The successful candidate will have experience of undertaking mechanical design, producing 2D CAD drawings (experience with Revit and BIM would be advantageous) compiling reports, managing information streams, working with suppliers and contractors as well as attending client and contractor meetings. Additional skills and qualifications include: * Experience of calculation software such as Hevacomp, TAS, IES and, CYMAP * Completed a minimum of an HND qualification in a relevant subject; * Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Building Services Consultancy; * Good experience of mechanical detail design and D&B; * Competent user of design software; * Competent user of AutoCAD/Revit; * Confident and outgoing personality, able to be client facing and build relationships with our valued client database; * Good organisational skills, able to manage projects, outputs, and work within deadlines; * Ability to work with, assist and manage junior/intermediate staff. We are looking to recruit a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a well respected and established Building Services Consultancy based in the East Midlands. Our client specialises in the surveying and design of the Building Services disciplines within construction projects across a number of sectors including Commercial, Industrial, Leisure, PRS, Student Accommodation and retail schemes nationwide. They work with developers and main contractors to take both Mechanical and Electrical aspects of projects through concept, feasibility, design, project management and commissioning.
