What you will do: Manage and assess a caseload of building control projects, including plan appraisals and site inspections. Evaluate dangerous structures and coordinate necessary remedial actions. Supervise and support trainees, apprentices, and assistants within the team. Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and relevant legislation. Liaise with external stakeholders such as Fire Services, Police, and contractors. Independently manage development sites and maintain accurate inspection and compliance records. Assist with special projects and undertake occasional out-of-hours work when required. Essential criteria: Registration with the Building Safety Regulator (minimum Class 2E - Assessment and Inspection). Full membership with CABE, RICS, or MCIOB.
