Carpenter Coalville Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:00 Circa 31,500 per annum Paid Weekly Must have own vehicle and full UK driving licence (mileage paid) We are currently recruiting for an experienced Carpenter to join a busy repairs and maintenance team in Coalville. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Carpenter (NVQ Level 2) looking for a stable, Monday-to-Friday position with weekly pay and varied work. The Role You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of carpentry repairs and maintenance works within occupied properties, ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and to a high standard. The role An ideal role for a person with project management experience in the joinery industry working on high-value projects providing bespoke joinery to a range of clients. Responsibilities As a project manager you will be responsible for: Managing the project from tender acceptance, design and development to project delivery/installation on time and within budget. Providing a full turnkey service from design, development, manufacture, delivery and installation to our clients. Co-ordinate and produce all relevant project documentation including: drawings: (for approval by the client), variations to project costs from the original quotation, schedules of works for production and delivery, purchasing of materials and O&M manuals. Managing relationships with production and suppliers to fulfil project deliverables, including all aspects of the bespoke joinery i.e. specialist materials. General bench joinery workshop responsibilities: To contribute to maintaining a clean and efficient workshop. To have the flexibility to sometimes vary working hours to suit production needs. To understand and adhere to the company's Health & Safety policy including when the use of PPE is compulsory. To alert the Manufacturing Manager of anything that you feel could affect H&S. To show good time keeping. At least 3 years experience in a joinery workshop producing bespoke joinery.
