A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a large, well regarded main contractor delivering a number of projects for clients including National Grid, UK Power Networks and SSE across the South East.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be working closely with the Managing Surveyor and the Commercial management team, helping them deliver an increasing pipeline of projects for clients within the power sector. These projects have values from £5m to £20m and could include new tunnels and tunnel refurbishments, new substations, foundations for pylons, renewable energy projects and overground pylons. Some of your key duties will include:
Preparing accurate cost reports for the client
Prepare and process valuations and applications for payment with the relevant supporting documents
