After 39hrs £31.59

Saturday first 4hrs £31.59Saturday after 4hrs

About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team on the HS2 infrastructure project, one of the UK s largest and most complex construction schemes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of electrical installation and maintenance works in accordance with HS2 standards, site procedures, and health & safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out electrical installation, testing, and maintenance works across HS2 construction sites

  • Work independently or as part of a multi-disciplinary site gang

  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and method statements

  • Install containment systems, cabling, lighting, power supplies, and associated equipment

  • Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations, HS2 specifications, and site safety requirements

  • Identify and report defects, hazards, or non-conformances

  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and site professionalism

  • Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and other trades on site

About the Candidate

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Electrician on large-scale infrastructure or construction projects

  • Strong understanding of electrical installation standards and site safety procedures

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Confident working from technical drawings and plans

Competencies & Certifications (One Required)

  • JIB Electrotechnical Certification
    OR

  • ECS Gold Card or ECS White/Brown Card
    OR

  • CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card

Desirable (Not Essential)

  • Previous experience working on HS2 or major infrastructure projects

  • IPAF / PASMA

  • Knowledge of rail or tunnel environments
