An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Estimator to join an ambitious, successful and growing company. Our client are true leaders within their industry providing a construction, structural and passive fire protection service and boast projects such as The Shard, One Crown Place & The Madison to name a few within their portfolio.
As the Estimator, you will prepare estimates and complete pricing work in support of tender submissions, proposals for new business opportunities and existing contracts. You will meet the required ‘Tender Date’ of each new enquiry and analyze and compile accurately priced submissions ensuring that all estimates cover the requirements of the contract.
You will enjoy representing the company by dealing with Customers, Suppliers, Consultants and Stakeholders and be a champion promoter of Health & Safety in an estimating function.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES;
* Estimating
* Assist in defining specifications to provide better production, cover costs and better suitability for the customer and company
* Prepare estimates in support of tender submissions and proposals based on realistic prices for the project
* Carry out analytical comparisons of unit rates to ensure the company obtains competitive quotations
* Undertake site visits in preparation of tenders
* Advise the delivery team on all aspects of the estimating process
