Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, bar bending schedules, and technical specifications.

• Cut, shape, tie, and install steel reinforcement for concrete structures such as walls, slabs, beams, columns, culverts, and heavy-duty foundations.

• Assemble and fix reinforcement cages for large civil and marine structures.

• Install spacers, chairs, and supports to ensure correct concrete cover in accordance with dockyard quality standards.

• Work safely around cranes, lifting operations, and other heavy plant within a busy operational environment.
