The Role As a Mobile HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible for commissioning, maintaining, and fault-finding on a wide range of AHUs and associated HVAC equipment. Key Responsibilities Commission, maintain, and troubleshoot AHUs and ventilation systems. Set up and integrate controls using Modbus/BACnet for BMS connectivity. Conduct F-Gas inspections, leak tests, and refrigerant reporting (training available). Produce accurate service reports, commissioning documents, and refrigerant logs. Communicate clearly with customers, providing updates and technical explanations. Support with dehumidification/humidification systems and pool AHUs (advantageous). Carry out electrical troubleshooting and assist with wiring modifications. Work independently or as part of a team, with flexibility for UK travel and overnight stays. Identify, diagnose, and report technical issues efficiently and professionally. Essential Requirements Proven HVAC engineering experience, specifically AHU commissioning. Knowledge of Modbus/BACnet controls and protocols. Good understanding of ventilation standards and energy-efficient system operation. Strong customer communication and professional conduct. Flexible approach to nationwide travel and mobile working. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in documentation. F-Gas qualification (or willingness to train). Full UK driving licence. Desirable Experience Experience with pool AHUs and specialist environmental controls. Dehumidification/humidification system knowledge. Electrical installation and fault-finding capabilities. Additional HVAC-related certifications.
