We're partnering with a progressive housing provider in Hampshire who want a surveyor with backbone, confidence, and the technical know-how to lead their disrepair function.

This isn't a box-ticking survey gig, you'll be the go-to expert, the person teams rely on, and the one who stands up when it counts.

What You'll Be Getting Up To:

• Acting as the organisation's Expert Witness (including court attendance when required)
• Writing solid, Part 35-compliant expert reports that stand up under scrutiny
• Owning and managing all legal disrepair claims in line with the Pre-Action Protocol
• Carrying out detailed defect inspections and seeing complex issues through to resolution
• Working closely with in-house and external legal teams to bring cases to a clean conclusion
• This is a role for someone who enjoys the detail, isn't fazed by legal pressure, and wants to take real responsibility.

What You'll Bring:

• CIOB, Building Degree, RICS or equivalent experience ( chartership not required)
• Hands-on experience acting as a Senior Surveyor for social housing
• Solid working knowledge of HHSRS, Building Regs
• A sharp understanding of disrepair legislation and the housing conditions protocol
• If you've dealt with the messy end of disrepair before, you'll hit the ground running.
