Associate Quantity Surveyor

A great opportunity for a Associate Quantity Surveyor with 2 years' experience to join a successful consultancy in Guildford, Surrey.

You'll gain hands on experience across traditional PQS duties and work alongside experienced surveyors on a portfolio of bespoke building projects. This location is ideal for candidates in Woking, West Sussex, and is directly accessible for Portsmouth and Chichester residents via the A3.

This quantity surveyor job also offers hybrid working from home (WFH).

Projects include the restoration of one off heritage properties, the renovation of private schools, and construction of luxury homes for private clients.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Support senior surveyors with cost plans, estimates, and tender documents
• Assist with measurement, take-offs, and valuations
• Contribute to contract administration and post-contract cost control
• Engage with clients, consultants, and contractors

Desired Skills and Experience

• Around 2 years' experience in a PQS or consultancy environment
• Understanding of pre- and post-contract stages
• Strong numeracy, communication, and teamwork skills

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar
• Progress towards MRICS welcomed and supported
