About the Role We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Groundworks Site Manager to oversee and manage groundworks and civil engineering operations on our clients construction site in Gloucester. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating site activities, managing subcontractors, ensuring health and safety compliance, and delivering projects on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day groundworks operations, including: Excavation and earthworks Drainage installation Foundations and substructures Utilities and ducting Concrete works and external works Manage site teams, subcontractors, plant operators, and labour. Senior Quantity Surveyor Annual Salary: 65,000 to 85,000 Location: Dorset, with site visits Job Type: Full-time We are seeking a Surveyor with a strong background in quantity surveying and preferably, Civils or groundworks. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who is confident and capable of meeting challenging deadlines daily. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including financial reporting, site visits, and client correspondence. Day-to-day of the role: Work within the Commercial team, reporting to the board as necessary. Conduct monthly reporting and financial analysis of site activities. Perform periodic site visits, typically once per week. Discuss site activities with construction teams and submit variations to the client. Handle client correspondence, focusing on commercial and contractual matters. Measure and quantify from both drawings and site visits. Produce Bills of Quantities and cost breakdowns.
