Mechanical Fitter / Plumber We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified Mechanical Fitter / Plumber to join our facilities maintenance team in Tameside . Key Responsibilities System Maintenance: Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs to mechanical plant and plumbing systems. Plumbing Works: Undertake minor installations and repairs to building fabric, including sanitary ware and water distribution systems. Fault Finding: Utilize technical expertise to identify and resolve mechanical and plumbing faults within occupied facilities. Requirements Essential Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent City & Guilds) in Mechanical Engineering or Plumbing & Heating. Experience & Skills: Facilities Management (Bonus): Previous experience working within a structured Facilities Management (FM) environment is highly desirable. Technical Proficiency: Ability to work independently or as part of a multi-trade team to resolve complex site issues.
