The Role The Construction Quantity Surveyor / Estimator (Civils) is responsible for the preparation of accurate cost estimates, budgets, and commercial management of civil engineering projects. The role supports tendering, cost control, procurement, and financial reporting to ensure projects are delivered within budget and in line with contractual requirements. Responsibilities Projects Civils Provide costs of proposed projects and survey/cost completed works. Prepare detailed forward plans of work commitments and appropriate labour requirements. Meet with clients and visit sites to discuss project requirements. Identify commercial risks and develop appropriate responses. Work alongside Jnr QS to ensure all tenders are sent out by cut off dates.
