Job Description

Role - Assistant Landscape Architect Location - Guildford, Surrey Salary - £32 - £35K

Our client is a reputable Multi Disciplinary Consultancy in need of an Assistant Landscape Architect for their Guildford studio. They work in residential, commercial, healthcare, public realm and infrastructure projects for major private and public sector clients.

As an Assistant Landscape Architect, you will support the Senior team on a number of exciting schemes at varying scales and design stages, from concept to planning through to tender and contract implementation. Many projects are in collaboration with architects, offering an integrated design approach and an excellent springboard opportunity for a junior landscape architect looking to advance into the industry.

Assistant Landscape Architect Key Requirements
  • A Landscape Architecture degree and a MSc in Landscape Architecture is beneficial
  • Some experience in the design and detailing of hard and soft landscaping schemes
  • Competent using AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop or Sketchup
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage time with multiple tasks
  • Have a good attention to detail and be able to check one's own work
  • Have a reasonable understanding of the planning system
  • Have good eye for design detail and attractive graphics
  • A full UK driving licence
