We are looking for a keen and experienced service engineer, fitter, technician or mechanic to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is either an experienced powered access engineer OR maybe you are an experienced car mechanic, plant fitter or similar and want to do doing something a bit different. As a Workshop Service Engineer for Nationwide Platforms you will work within a busy depot to inspect, repair and maintain our machines ensuring that they are ready for use by our customers. Responsibilities include: - Support the Senior Service Engineer in the effective running of the Depot workshop within the region. Ensure that there is no deficiency or defect likely to affect the safe working of a machine. Notify appropriate manager of any defective or unsafe equipment. Repair machines at depot or on site as required to ensure conformance with manufactures specification and company policy. To complete planned maintenance activities including maintaining the appearance of the fleet to corporate standard. Handover machines to customers and familiarise customers with safe machine operation in accordance with company procedures. Act as an ambassador for the company, providing a high standard of customer care and being polite at all times. Relay appropriate customer queries to depot staff as required. Accurately complete all relevant paperwork including engineer s report, off hire, pre/delivery inspection and service sheets. Update system on machine status change i.e. PDI carried out, Machine under repair, 6 monthly statutory Inspection completed. About you: - Relevant general engineering maintenance qualification, preferably to NVQ level 3 or equivalent. Mechanical and Electrical Project Manager Project management is a pivotal role for my client. The Project Manager is responsible for delivering projects on time, to budget and without compromise to quality, adopting the standards as identified within the project specification. The Project Manager is responsible for managing, allocating and utilising both internal and external resource in an efficient manner and maintaining a co-operative, motivated and successful team, whilst managing relationships with a wide range of clients as well as individuals. Key responsibilities Ensure that assigned projects are managed in accordance with the requirements of the client/principal contractor and internal policies and procedures Ensure compliance with Construction standards Overall control and management of the company’s delivery programme Overall control and management of assigned project team Ensure the flow and quality of information from the client’s design team to our project team (including our internal design team) Ensure profitability of assigned projects Overall control and management of the procurement schedule for both sub-contractors and materials in accordance with the project programme and liaise with the buying department to ensure the timely procurement and delivery of all plant and materials for the projects Overall control and management of all sub-contractors and agency labour Identify and implement logistics plan for site setup Contribute to labour strategy for the project and identify any specific training needs for employees / project Preparation of monthly progress reports and quarterly HSE reports Coordinate construction activities and labour Monitor the construction / integrated programmes Liaise and coordinate with other trade contractors and the principal contractor’s coordinator if one is appointed Prepare working drawings with the design department Control drawings (management of our document control procedures) Liaise and assist where necessary with the project surveyor (including valuations and variations) Prepare project specific method statements and risk assessments as and when required and ensure we obtain these from our sub-contractors prior to their works commencing Organise external safety advisor’s visits in accordance with the project requirements Assist the Site Supervisor with resolution of day to day issues Manage and monitor the Site Supervisor to ensure they carry out their full range of responsibilities Manage production of O&M Manuals within sufficient timescales prior to practical completion date Financial/commercial responsibility for the project, under the guidance of the Operations Director and Contracts Manager The person Appropriate level of education, qualification and experience in the sector or a closely-related sector High level of project management expertise High level of staff management expertise High level of communication skills High level of commercial awareness Able to develop and maintain productive relationships with a wide range of senior and subordinate colleagues, suppliers, clients and other key players Able to maintain sharp focus in the face of adversity and conflicting requirements Benefits Salary negotiable, depending on experience Bonus potential Company car or car allowance 25 days holiday a year Free onsite parking Pension scheme Employee assistance programme Private medical insurance Life assurance

Working with the Sales Director and our CBRE Account Manager, this position is critical in providing technical solutions to meet our client's site, systems and project requirements. The role will take full responsibility for all technical sales with that customer. In addition, meetings and communications to develop relationships with CBRE senior management, Head of Projects and Project Managers forms a large part of this role aiming to become the "go-to" person within their business for our specialist support. Responsibilities Provide technical sales support for the allocated customer. Provide proactive external client consultancy services to FM contractors, Fit out contractors and end clients. Provide internal technical support of specialist fields to the special projects and support engineers. Undertake site surveys as needed to support the sales function Create clear specifications and costs within a solution sales approach, defined around the SMART approach; Scope, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Time Bound. Achieving sales targets as part of a team. Ensure a thorough handover of sold solutions and projects to the operations team, clarifying all aspects of the SMART approach. Advanced knowledge of HVAC fundamentals, CIBSE and BSRIA guides. Demonstrable evidence of achieving sales targets within a similar role. IT, Electrical and Mechanical knowledge of a highly competent level, demonstrable through experience or qualification. Demonstrable experience of delivering energy surveys and audits within the HVAC / BEMS field. Advanced knowledge compliancy legislation, such as Part L, and European Standard EN15232. Educated to Degree Level within mechanical, electrical, building services or a controls field. Qualification is Energy Auditing, such as TMOL. Additional BEMS Product knowledge and certifications (other than Trend Control Systems), such as Honeywell Centraline, Cylon, Siemens. Product course certifications for Tridium AX hardware and software. BEMS product course certifications (hardware and software) from Trend Control Systems.
