About you: You will have experience of building services management in an organisation using in-house resources, contractors and consultants and experience of managing minor to mid-range building, mechanical and electrical maintenance works, including preparation of specifications, drawings and tender documentation. ideally have a degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Building Services Discipline, or significant relevant experience. You must have a good understanding of Construction Design and Management and Health and Safety legislation. You will have the flexibility to vary shift hours on occasions. In addition, you will have a willingness to undertake training as required, be able to cope with varying daily workloads and the ability to understand control of financial issues. Key Accountabilities: - Technical background (M&E) - Hard services - Previous hands on experience within a mechanical/electrical role - Ability to work well under preasure - Health & Safety - Legal compliance Package: - Salary: £35,222 to £40,166 per annum, depending upon skills and experience, a salary uplift and/or additional allowances may be available for exceptional candidates. - RCUK Pension Scheme (matched upto 26%) - 30 days annual leave with a further 14 Public/privilege days - Free car-parking - Opportunities for further training and development are supported.
