Job Description
We are supporting a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering a wide range of infrastructure, roads, earthworks, and utilities projects across the North of Scotland. They are seeking an experienced Sub Agent to join their team in Aberdeenshire, playing a key role in the delivery of high-quality projects.
You will support the Site Agent in managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant delivery. This role offers strong progression opportunities and involvement in diverse civil engineering works across the region.
As the Sub-Agent your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Assist with planning, coordination, and delivery of civil engineering projects.
- Oversee engineering teams, subcontractors, and site resources.
- Ensure all works meet safety, quality, environmental, and client standards.
- Review technical information, raise queries, and help drive value engineering.
- Monitor progress, maintain site records, and support commercial reporting.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and supply chain partners.
The successful applicant for this role will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience in a Sub Agent or Senior Engineer role within civils, utilities, or infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of site operations, construction methodologies, and temporary works.
- Proactive leader with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Competent with technical documentation, planning, and reporting.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across project sites.
