Mobile Mechanical Engineer

We are currently recruiting a Mobile Mechanical Engineer with electrical experience to join our clients' team on a temporary basis, with the potential to go permanent after a successful probation period.

Base Location: Witham
Coverage Area: Southeast, East Anglia & parts of London
(Occasional work in the Midlands - overnight stays required, accommodation provided)

The Role

• Working as an extension of the client's maintenance team
• Rebuilding, maintaining, and repairing all types of conveyor systems
• Mobile role supporting various client sites
• Typical working hours 6:00am - 6:00pm (often shorter depending on workload)

Requirements

• Mechanical Engineer with electrical experience
• Proven experience working on conveyor systems
• FMCG experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and travel to multiple sites
• Full UK driving licence

Pay & Benefits

• 20- 22 per hour (dependent on experience)
• Company van provided after 3-month probation
• Opportunity to transition to a permanent position
• Overnight accommodation provided for Midlands work
