We are currently recruiting an experienced Electrician to join our team on a permanent contract at our site in South Kirkby, Pontefract.

Job Title: Electrician

Duties:
• Install and inspect industrial electrical systems
• Interpret technical drawings
• Ensure compliance with BS 7671 and all safety regulations
• Maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with clients and contractors to deliver projects effectively

Days/Hours:
• Monday Thursday: 07 00
• Friday: 07 00

Qualifications (MUST HAVE):
• Previous experience as a metal fabricator welder
• Experience working with mild steel, Zintec, and galvanised sheet (0.9 mm to 30 mm)
• Additional experience with mild steel (2 mm to 10 mm)
• Proficiency in operating an overhead crane (advantage)
• Welding experience/certification (advantage)
• Advanced knowledge of engineering design and manufacturing procedures
• Ability to read and interpret 2D & 3D engineering drawings
• Proficient with metal fabrication tools
• Strong mathematical and engineering skills
• Ability to lift and manipulate large metal objects
• Able to stand for long periods

Pay Rate: £14.78
