Access Talent Group are recruiting for a large international design consultancy in Cardiff. We are looking for a strong Chartered or near-chartered Principal Civil Engineer with a focus on the wastewater sector. You will have detailed design experience within wastewater and will work on schemes across the Thames, Welsh, and Severn Trent water frameworks on various asset and wastewater pipeline projects. The role requires leadership to manage efficient teams and oversee major pipeline projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead detailed design work for wastewater pipeline and pump station projects.
• Coordinate feasibility, outline and detailed design phases of water and sewer pressurised pipeline projects.
• Design gravity sewers and support commercial aspects such as fee proposals, reports, client meetings, and program management.
• Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams ensuring project delivery.
• Utilise pipeline hydraulics, GIS and 3D CAD software for engineering solutions.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Chartered or near-chartered status (or equivalent).
• Strong background in civil wastewater engineering and detailed design.
• Experience with pipeline and pump station projects.
• Commercial awareness and ability to prepare fee proposals and reports.
• Proficiency with GIS and 3D CAD software.
