Pipefitter

The Client and Project Info:

My client is a leading Civil Engineering Contractor who are currently recruiting an experienced Pipefitter to join their team on a large-scale civils infrastructure project. This is a long-term position offering stability and the opportunity to work on a major, high-value development.

Pipefitter Responsibilities:

• Working with and reporting to the Site Supervisor / Project Manager

• Installing, assembling and testing pipework systems across various areas of the project

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

• Working with carbon steel, stainless steel and plastic pipework

• Carrying out hot works and welding where required (depending on qualifications)

• Ensuring all work is completed to industry standards and project specifications

• Maintaining a safe and compliant working environment

• Liaising with other trades and subcontractors on site

• Supporting the delivery of works to deadlines and programme requirements

Pipefitter Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a Pipefitter on civils, utilities or large-scale infrastructure projects

• Ability to read and work from technical drawings

• CSCS / CPCS and relevant pipefitting qualifications

• Confident working independently and as part of a wider installation team

• Strong commitment to health & safety
