Handyman

To support the site team with a range of basic maintenance, repair, and general labour tasks to ensure the smooth running of the refit project.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out minor repairs and maintenance tasks across the site (e.g., fixing door handles, adjusting fixtures, patch repairs).

• Assist trades where required, including basic prep work and general support.

• Move materials, tools, and equipment safely around site.

• Install or remove basic fittings (shelving, signage, temporary barriers, etc.).

• Perform basic carpentry tasks such as cutting timber, fitting trims, or boarding.

• Keep work areas clean, tidy, and hazard-free.

• Set up and dismantle site equipment as directed.

• Support with snagging tasks during and towards the end of the refit.

• Follow all site health & safety protocols and use PPE correctly.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a handyman or general labourer on construction or refit projects.

• Basic skills in carpentry, painting, and general repairs.

• Ability to use hand tools and basic power tools safely.

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to help where needed.

Requirements

• CSCS card

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good communication skills.

• Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
