This requirement has arisen due to additional project capacity and will involve working within a live transmission environment, supporting mechanical installation activities to strict National Grid standards. Please note: This role is determined as Inside IR35. Limited Company payment is not a compliant method. Key Responsibilities: Mechanical fitting and installation within a high-voltage substation environment Supporting M&E installation works in line with project specifications Working as part of a coordinated site team under site supervision Operating in accordance with National Grid safety rules and procedures Supporting and supervising lifting operations (Lift Supervisor ticket required) Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and quality on site Essential Requirements: Valid National Grid Persons (NG Person) authorisation Valid Lift Supervisor ticket Relevant mechanical fitting qualifications and competency tickets Previous experience working within National Grid or transmission substation environments Full and correct PPE prior to site attendance (mandatory) Please do not apply if you do not hold the required tickets and authorisations.
