For this role you will need to have a valid CSCS card and have previously worked with timber posts, concrete post and panel fencing. Key Responsibilities: Erect a variety of fences including timber post, concrete post, and panel fencing. Prepare and clear worksites efficiently and safely. Operate tools and equipment, including nail guns and hand tools. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines. Work across varied outdoor environments and weather conditions. About You: Experience with timber posts, concrete post and panel fencing. Experience on New Build Developments. Enthusiastic and hardworking Full Driving licence with no more than 3 points CSCS Card. Health and Safety aware Experience with Nail Guns and other hand tools Hours & Pay: Monday to Friday Lots of hours, 40-45 hours per week. We are currently recruiting for an experienced fence erector to work for one of our large, local clients based in Wellington, Somerset. You will be covering the Taunton and Wellington areas attending client locations to inspect locations for suitability and to advise on appropriate materials and labourer required to undertake fencing projects. This role will involve carrying out the fixing and repairs of existing fences as well as assessing locations where new fences are to be located. You will need previous experience and must be able to work with manual and power tools to carry out the duties required. The role will involve some heavy lifting so candidates will need to be able to lift weights of up to 25kg. Some projects will be undertaken alone so the ability to be self-motivated and meet deadlines is essential. Other projects will involve working with team members depending on the size of the project, so the ability to work well with others will also be required. There are suitable Covid-19 procedures in place to protect clients and colleagues whilst undertaking duties which must be adhered to at all times. Previous local authority experience will be advantageous but not essential for the role but experience working on both domestic and commercial sites will be essential. The hours of work are 8am - 4pm working 37 hours per week, and the rate of pay is £11.61 per hour. You will get 22 days holiday and overtime rates at £17.42 per hour when required. This is initially working on a temporary contract for the next 6 weeks with the potential to be extended after this time.
