Job Title: Multi-Trade Roofer / Roofing Operative (Social Housing Repairs)
Location: Winchester, Southampton, Bournemouth & surrounding areas (occasional travel to Taunton)
Salary: 24/hour (CIS, Umbrella) - temp to perm role - perm salary upto 40k ( 16-18 per hour PAYE)
Hours: 40 hours/week - Mon-Fri, 8:00-16:30
Contract: 3-month temp-to-perm

We're seeking experienced Roofers and Roofing-biased Multi-Trade Operatives to support a social housing maintenance programme across the South coast. You'll carry out a mix of roof repairs and general property maintenance, ensuring homes remain safe, dry, and well-maintained.

Your work will include:

• Responsive roof repairs (tiles, slates, ridge, verge, flashing, felt, minor flat-roof work)

• Diagnosing roof leaks in occupied social housing

• Gutter, fascia and soffit repairs/replacement

• Making properties weather-tight

• Supporting with basic-mid-level multi-trade tasks, including:

  • Small carpentry repairs

  • Patch plastering

  • Basic plumbing fixes

  • Painting/decorating

  • Tiling repairs

  • General property upkeep

This role suits a roofer who can turn their hand to other trades OR a multi-skilled operative with strong roofing experience.
