About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Finishing Manager/Foreman to support our projects during the final stages of construction. Working on a freelance basis, you will take responsibility for coordinating finishing trades, managing snagging, and ensuring all works are delivered to top-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all finishing trades on site, ensuring smooth coordination and communication.

• Manage day-to-day finishing operations, including snagging, quality checks, and progress reporting.

• Ensure all works meet specifications, drawings, and client expectations.

• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and the main site team to maintain efficient workflow.

• Conduct regular inspections, address issues promptly, and ensure timely completion.

• Maintain a safe, compliant, and well-organised working environment.

• Provide clear daily updates to the Site Manager/Project Manager.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience as a Finishing Manager, Finishing Foreman, or similar finishing-focused role.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to exceptional quality.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and finishing schedules.

• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.

• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently on a freelance basis.

• Relevant site qualifications (CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS) preferred.
