Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst

Location: Edinburgh, Central Scotland

Salary / Benefits: £25k - £34k + Training + Benefits

Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst through to Lead Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst

Profile: Our client who specialises in the full range of asbestos services and hold the UKAS accreditation are now looking to take on a qualified and proficient Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst based in and around the Edinburgh area. The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge of the asbestos industry and will hold the P402, P303, P404 or RSPH equivalate qualifications, and will have experience carrying out asbestos surveys and air monitoring on a range of health care, educational and local authority sites.

Applications will be considered from: Livingston, Falkirk, Rosyth, Cumbernauld, East Kilbride, Lanark, Glasgow, Paisley, Clydebank.

• Must hold the P402, P403, P404 or RSPH equivalent qualifications.
• Will have extensive previous experience working within the asbestos industry.
• Must be well versed in relevant Health and safety qualifications.
• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office.

• Undertaking 4 stage clearance, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual re-occupation and personal air testing on a range of sites.
• Carrying out demolition, management, and refurbishment surveys.
• Supervising contractors and ensuring that all work is being carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
• Using information collected from site to produce detailed reports for clients.
• Building and maintaining good working relationships with clients.
