Job Title: Project Architect

Location: Canterbury

Salary: 38-45,000 DOE

Daily Duties

  • Lead projects through all design stages, from concept to completion
  • Coordinate project teams, including internal staff and external consultants
  • Produce, review, and approve technical drawings and documentation
  • Conduct site visits and oversee construction to ensure design quality
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and financial performance
  • Engage with clients, present proposals, and respond to feedback
  • Mentor and support junior team members
  • Ensure compliance with planning, building regulations, health & safety, and sustainability standards
  • Contribute to bids, tenders, and proposals
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and consultants

Ideal Candidate

  • ARB-registered architect with extensive post-Part 3 experience
  • Experience in Commercial, Life Science, and Health sectors
  • Proven track record of managing projects from inception to completion
  • Strong technical expertise in detailing, drawing, specifications, and documentation
  • Excellent organisational, leadership, and team management skills
  • Proficient in relevant design software and UK regulations
  • Effective communicator with experience coordinating clients and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Proactive, commercially minded, and solution-oriented
  • Experienced in mentoring junior staff and delivering projects on time and within budget
