Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Document Controller to join a reputable M&E Contractor. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the documentation process, ensuring that all documents are accurately maintained, organised, and accessible. This position is essential for maintaining compliance with company standards and facilitating smooth operations across various departments.

The role is based out of Euston and the position is site based.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the creation, revision, and distribution of documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that all documents are accurately filed and stored in both physical and electronic formats.
  • Maintain an up-to-date document control system to track revisions, approvals, and distribution of documents.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits of document control processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in training staff on document control procedures and best practices.
  • Respond to internal and external requests for documentation in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Document Controller
  • Strong organisational skills with an exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using document management systems, Aconex, A site and SharePoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards is an advantage but not mandatory.
