Job Title-Quantity Surveyor Reports to Senior Quantity Surveyor / Managing Quantity Surveyor Location-Office and Site Based Responsible for-Assistant Quantity Surveyors The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing the commercial resources of assigned projects in order to maximise planned gross margin and profitability. Requirements
To be successful all applicants must have worked for a specialist façade / building envelope subcontractor in the UK. My client will only consider candidates that have a proven background in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management in the building envelope industry who have worked for a rival contractor. You’ll be responsible for commercially delivering on projects which could range £10m to £70m in value, working for a variety of blue-chip building contractors such as Skanska, Lendlease and Mace. Depending on the size of the scheme, you may have an Assistant QS to support with day to day task but ultimately you’ll full support from your Senior Commercial Teams. The successful applicant will show proven experience with a Façade contractor.
Salary/ Benefits
Salary will be agreed with each individual on a case by case basis depending on previous experience. As a rough guideline I will be targeting individuals whose annual salary is within £70k to £90k. All reasonable travel expenses will be included and you will receive a company works package.
