Job Description
Our client based in County Durham are looking for experienced Retrofit Assessors/Technical surveyors to work within domestic properties throughout the Northeast of England.
Job description:
- To produce a high-quality PAS 2035 Retrofit Assessment in line with current accreditation guides.
- Have a general understanding of ECO and the requirements of ECO funding.
- Prepare reports and make recommendations for cost effective ways to improve energy performance.
- Carry out technical surveys on domestic boilers.
- Liaise with assessors, customers and installers
- Make recommendations based on assessment findings.
Person specification:
- Minimum Level 3 Certificate in Domestic Energy Assessment
- PAS 2035 and Retrofit Assessment accreditation.
- Must have a full UK driving license.
- Ideally be Gas Safe registered and have experience working with gas appliances.
- Must be qualified with one of the approved member bodies (Stroma, Elmhurst, ECMK etc).
- Strong knowledge on technical surveys.
- Good attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Flexible, positive approach to work.
- Computer literate.
- Must have or be willing to do a basic DBS check before starting employment.
