Job Title: Welder
Location: Gateshead
Hourly Rate: Competitive, DOE
Shifts: Monday Thursday, 7am 5pm (4-day week)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Welder to join a busy and expanding production team. As a Welder, you will:

  • Work across a wide variety of jobs, using MIG and TIG welding techniques on mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
  • The Welder will interpret drawings, use strong initiative, and work with minimal supervision to produce high-quality fabricated components.
  • You ll be part of a business that values independence, problem-solving, and teamwork and as a Welder, you ll have the opportunity to develop your skills further through on-the-job training.
  • This position is ideal for a Welder who enjoys variety and takes pride in delivering precise, reliable work.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience working as a Welder, Sheet Metal Worker, Plater or Fabricator
  • Competent in MIG / TIG welding
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Experience working with mild steel, aluminium and stainless steel
  • Willingness to learn, develop and contribute to a strong team culture
  • Candidates without formal qualifications but with solid practical ability and willingness to progress are encouraged to apply
