Detailer - Structural Steel / Metalwork
Location: London
Salary: 35,000 - 58,000 (Depending on experience)
We are working with a growing and dynamic design team in the London area who are looking to expand their capabilities with the addition of a Detailer. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in structural and architectural metalwork detailing using Tekla Structures.
The Role:
As a Detailer, you will play a key role in producing accurate 3D models and drawings for structural steel and architectural metalwork projects. You'll work closely with experienced designers and engineers, gaining exposure to a variety of projects and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in producing 3D models using Tekla Structures
Generate fabrication and GA drawings for structural steel and metalwork
Collaborate with the internal design and project teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery
Support senior detailers and engineers with ongoing project requirements
Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
Requirements:
Ideally 3+ year of experience using Tekla Structures
A qualification in engineering, design, or a related field is beneficial
Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive mindset
Strong communication and team collaboration skills
Previous experience in structural or metalwork detailing is desirable but not essential
