Job Title: Architectural Technologist

Location: Wrexham

Salary: 27-35,000

Daily Duties

  • Lead the technical design and documentation of projects across all stages of the construction lifecycle
  • Use Revit, BIM workflows, and tools such as NBS Chorus to produce detailed models, drawings, and specifications
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to deliver fully integrated technical solutions
  • Contribute to or lead work across RIBA Plan of Work stages, from early concept to contract administration
  • Apply knowledge of both traditional and design & build procurement routes
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations, technical standards, and contractual requirements
  • Mentor junior colleagues, delegate tasks, and support effective resource management

Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum several years post-qualification experience, ideally with some project leadership exposure
  • Strong proficiency in Revit and good understanding of BIM processes (NBS Chorus experience beneficial)
  • Excellent technical knowledge with strong detailing, construction, and buildability awareness
  • Experience delivering projects through traditional and design & build procurement routes
  • Strong commercial and client-facing skills with the ability to build trusted relationships
  • Collaborative, organised, and confident in motivating and guiding team members
  • Ideally experienced across multiple RIBA Plan of Work stages
  • Solid understanding of regulations, technical codes, and contractual frameworks
